What we collect
Your account. An email address, and — if you sign in with Google — the name and picture Google returns. Nothing else.
No password. SoreQen has no passwords. You sign in with Google or with a six-digit code sent to your email, so there is no password of yours for us to store or to lose.
Your conversations. Messages you send and the replies you receive, so you can come back to them. Chats started in Incognito are never written to your account at all.
Onboarding answers. What you do, what you plan to use SoreQen for, and where you heard about us. All four questions are skippable.
Usage. Token counts, which model, and when — the numbers your limits are calculated from.
What we do not do
We do not train on your conversations unless you explicitly turn that on. The setting is off by default and asks rather than assumes.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Our logs record request identifiers, timings and errors. They do not record message content, email addresses or API keys.
Web search
When a reply needs current information, the relevant search terms — not your whole conversation — go to a search provider. Results are cached and shared across users by query, so a popular question is fetched once rather than once per person.
Pages retrieved this way are treated as untrusted text. The model cannot act on instructions embedded in them, and every claim drawn from the web shows the domain it came from.
Your rights
You can export everything we hold about you, and you can delete your account. When you delete it, your conversations, messages, onboarding answers and API keys are removed with it — the deletion cascades at the database level rather than relying on a cleanup job that might not run.
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act you may also ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, and withdraw consent. Write to privacy@soreqen.com.
Where the data lives
Account and conversation data sit in a managed Postgres database. Model inference runs on GPU infrastructure rented from a cloud provider; prompts are sent there to be answered and are not retained by us beyond your own conversation history.
Free-tier conversations are kept for 30 days. Paid-tier conversations are kept until you delete them.
Processors we use
Payments are handled by Razorpay; we never see your card details. Email is sent through Resend. Sign-in with Google is handled by Google. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
Children
SoreQen is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will say so in the product rather than quietly updating the date at the top.
